There are two sacraments in The United Methodist Church; baptism and communion.
Infants are typically baptized in the church. Parents of the child and the congregation are asked to raise the child in faith and God’s love. Bringing the child to worship and Sunday school is one way a parent may fulfill this expectation. See more HERE.
Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month. There are different methods of delivering communion. At Bennett’s Corners Community United Methodist Church, we celebrate by intinction. We offer an open table. All people are welcome to partake of the offering. Jesus lived, taught and died for all people.
Members may request communion be brought to the home if he or she is homebound.
